Prizes are awarded to the top fund fundraisers, according to the Official Contest Rules, as follows:
First Prize: Trip for Two to New York City
1st Place Prize awarded to the individual who raises the most money above the minimum threshold of $5,000. The award for raising the most money is a trip for two to New York City complete with airfare, for the Entrant and one guest, two nights accommodations, $500 in travel/food expenses and an opportunity to participate in a “Ballerina” photo shoot in New York City with Bob Carey!
Second Prize: Bring Bob to Your Hometown!
2nd Place Prize awarded to the individual who raises the second most amount of money above the minimum threshold of $5,000. The prize for raising the second most amount of money is “Bring Bob Carey to your Hometown.” This prize includes bringing Bob and Linda Carey to the hometown of the 2nd Place Prize. During their two-day stay, Bob will choose a location for a Ballerina photo shoot with guidance from the winner. The contestant will remain on location throughout the photo shoot, and may invite up to 2 guests for an evening with Bob and Linda Carey at a local destination (lunch or dinner).
Third Prize: Framed Limited Edition Signed Print and Calendar
3rd Place Prize awarded to the individual who raises the third most amount of money above the minimum threshold of $5,000. 3rd Place Prize package includes:
Detailed Description: Signed limited edition 16-by-20-inch C-print, with a lustre surface (valued at $400). Each print includes a Certificate of Authenticity with the Edition number, image name and year taken. The framing will be provided as a gift certificate valued at up to $200 to a local framing store as selected by The Tutu Project (based on winner location). The Tutu Project Calendar will be signed by Bob and Linda Carey (valued at $20).
Fourth Prize: Limited Edition, Numbered, Signed “Ballerina” Book and Signed Triad Set of our Choice
4th Place Prize awarded to the individual fundraiser that raises the fourth most amount of money. The Prize package includes:
Detailed Description: Limited edition, signed and numbered copy of Ballerina, plus a small print from the Ballerina series not featured in the book (valued at $100). The signed Triad (valued at $180) are a collection of THREE 11-by-17-inch beautiful photo prints. The Tutu Project Calendar will be signed by Bob and Linda Carey (valued at $20).
Fifth Prize: Signed Triad Set of our Choice and Signed The Tutu Project Calendar
5th Place Prize awarded to the Individual Fundraiser that accrues the most number of individual donors (that has not been awarded a prize in the other categories). The prize package includes:

The following contest is intended for viewing in the 48 contiguous United States and Washington D.C. only and will be construed and evaluated according to United States laws. Do not proceed to this site if you are not a legal resident of the 48 contiguous United States or Washington D.C., 18 years or older, and accessing this site in the United States.
Contest Description. The #Dare2Tutu Fundraising Challenge (the “Contest”) is designed to encourage eligible U.S. fundraisers in the 48 contiguous United States and Washington D.C. only (“Entrant(s)”) to raise money for The Carey Foundation DBA The Tutu Project, through personal fundraising pages. Prizes will be awarded in accordance with these Official Rules.
Contest Period. The contest period begins October 1, 2016, 00:00:01 EST and ends November 15, 2016, 23:59:59 EST (“The Contest Period”).
Eligibility. Contestants must be U.S. Citizens and reside in the contiguous United States and Washington DC. No purchase or donation by the fundraising page creator (“Contestant”) is necessary to enter. Void where prohibited.
How to enter. Contestants must create or edit an existing a Personal Fundraising Page at http://dare2tutu.com Contestants must select the “Enter Contest?” checkbox on their Personal Fundraising Page’s Create/Edit Screen. Selecting the checkbox and clicking “Save Changes” indicates you agree with these Official Rules.
Prizes. “Prizes” are awarded to the Entrants who meet the following criteria:
A unique donor is determined by the email address of the individual making the donation(s). (e.g. if three distinct donations are made by firstname.lastname@example.org, that would count as one (1) unique donor) Multiple donations submitted via the same IP address, regardless of email address, may be considered to be NOT unique at the sole discretion of The Carey Foundation DBA The Tutu Project, In the event of a tie for any of the prizes, the Entrant that accomplished the goal first, based on the timestamp set by the fundraising platform will receive the prizes. ONLY donations made online between October 1, 2016, 00:00:01 EST and November 3, 2016, 23:59:59 EST (“The Contest Period”) will count toward the Contest totals.
ONLY gifts made online with a debit/credit card will count toward the Contest totals. Gifts by check or other means, or entered offline, will be accepted but will NOT count toward Contest totals.
Sponsor. The Contest is sponsored by The Carey Foundation DBA The Tutu Project, a New Jersey corporation with principal place of business in Saddle River, NJ.
Binding Agreement. To enter the Contest, you must agree to these Official Rules (“Rules”). The Rules consist of the terms and conditions on this page. Because these Rules form a legally binding agreement with respect to this Contest, please read them carefully. If you do not agree to the Rules, you are not eligible to participate in the Contest or to win any of the prizes. You agree that participating in this Contest by the creation or use of a fundraising page during the Contest constitutes your agreement to these Rules.
Conduct. By entering the Contest, you agree to comply with and be bound by the Rules. Failure to comply with these Rules may result in your disqualification from the Contest. You further agree to comply with and be bound by the decisions of the judges, which are final and binding in all respects. The Carey Foundation DBA The Tutu Project reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any Entrant it finds to be: (1) tampering or attempting to tamper with the entry process or the operation of the Contest; (2) violating the Rules; (3) violating the terms of service, conditions of use or general rules or guidelines of any The Carey Foundation and The Tutu Project property or service; (4) acting in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner, or with the intent to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass any other person; or (5) failure to provide documentation verifying U.S. citizenship or permanent U.S. residency. Any false information provided within the context of the Contest by any Entrant concerning identity, postal address, ownership of rights or non-compliance with the Rules may result in the immediate disqualification of an Entrant from the Contest. The Carey Foundation DBA The Tutu Project further reserves the right to disqualify any entry that it believes in its sole and unfettered discretion, infringes upon any third party right, violates any law or otherwise does not comply with these Rules. CAUTION: ANY ATTEMPT BY AN ENTRANT OR ANY OTHER INDIVIDUAL TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE ANY PROPERTY OR UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THE CONTEST MAY BE A VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS. SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, The Carey Foundation DBA The Tutu Project, RESERVES THE RIGHT TO SEEK DAMAGES FROM ANY SUCH PERSON TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.
Media Activity. By participating in this Contest, you agree and hereby grant The Carey Foundation DBA The Tutu Project permission to use, copy, modify, distribute, and publicly display your Contest submissions for any purpose, such as, but not limited to, press and media communications, without any compensation or attribution to you or approval from you. You also agree to participate in any media or promotional activity regarding the Contest.
General Conditions. This Contest is governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey, United States. All federal, state and local laws and regulations apply. By participating in this Contest, you agree to be bound by the terms of these Rules and by The Carey Foundation DBA The Tutu Project’s decisions, which are final and binding on all matters pertaining to this Contest. Return of any prize/prize notification may result in disqualification and selection of an alternate winner. Any potential winner who cannot be contacted within five (5) business days of attempted first notification will forfeit his or her prize. Potential prize winners may be required to sign, notarize, and return an affidavit or declaration of eligibility, and/or a liability/publicity release, within three (3) business days and provide any additional information that may be required by The Carey Foundation DBA The Tutu Project. Failure to comply within this time period may result in disqualification and selection of an alternate winner. The Carey Foundation DBA The Tutu Project is not responsible for any typographical or other error in the printing of the offer, administration of the Contest or in the announcement of the prizes. All prizes must be used or claimed within 10 months of the prize, including travel dates (travel must be planned and completed within 10 months of the date recipient received prize notification from The Carey Foundation DBA The Tutu Project.
No Recourse to Judicial or Other Procedures. To the extent permitted by law, the rights to litigate, to seek injunctive relief, or to any other recourse to judicial or any other procedure in case of disputes or claims resulting from or in connection with this Contest are hereby excluded, and you expressly waive any and all such rights.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, YOU INDEMNIFY AND AGREE TO KEEP INDEMNIFIED The Carey Foundation DBA The Tutu Project, AT ALL TIMES FROM AND AGAINST ANY LIABILITY, ACTIONS, CLAIMS, DEMANDS, LOSSES, DAMAGES, COSTS AND EXPENSES FOR OR IN RESPECT OF WHICH The Carey Foundation DBA The Tutu Project, WILL OR MAY BECOME LIABLE BY REASON OF OR RELATED OR INCIDENTAL TO ANY ACT, DEFAULT OR OMISSION BY YOU UNDER THESE RULES INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION RESULTING FROM OR IN RELATION TO ANY BREACH, NON-OBSERVANCE, ACT OR OMISSION WHETHER NEGLIGENT OR OTHERWISE, PURSUANT TO THESE RULES BY YOU. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, YOU AGREE TO HOLD The Carey Foundation DBA The Tutu Project, , ITS RESPECTIVE DIRECTORS, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES AND ASSIGNS HARMLESS FOR ANY INJURY OR DAMAGE CAUSED OR CLAIMED TO BE CAUSED BY PARTICIPATION IN THE CONTEST AND/OR USE OR ACCEPTANCE OF ANY PRIZE WON.
Internet. The Carey Foundation DBA The Tutu Project, is not responsible for electronic transmission errors resulting in omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operations or transmission. The Carey Foundation DBA The Tutu Project, is not responsible for theft or destruction or unauthorized access to or alterations of Contest materials, or for technical, network, telephone equipment, electronic, computer, hardware or software malfunctions or limitations of any kind. The Carey Foundation DBA The Tutu Project, is not responsible for inaccurate transmissions of or failure to display Contest materials on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any website or any combination thereof. If for any reason the Internet portion of the Contest is not capable of running as planned, including infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other causes which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity, or proper conduct of this Contest, The Carey Foundation DBA The Tutu Project, reserves the right at its sole discretion to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Contest.
Severability. If any provision(s) of these Rules are held to be invalid or unenforceable, all remaining provisions hereof will remain in full force and effect.
Winner List. The names of the winners will be posted on the Contest Website within one (1) month of the end of the Contest.
